Quality Department Head

Job Description

  • Lead and manage the Quality Department covering Quality Control (QC), Quality Management System (QMS) and Continuous Improvement (CI) functions.
  • Ensure consistent product quality across incoming materials, in-process, and finished goods in printing & packaging operations.
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve quality systems in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC, BRC, and Halal standards.
  • Coordinate and manage internal audits, external audits, and customer audits, including CAPA follow-up.
  • Handle customer complaints and drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
  • Work closely with Production, PPIC, Engineering, Procurement, and Sales to ensure quality compliance.
  • Develop, coach, and strengthen the QC & QMS teams to meet quality and compliance targets.

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Graphic Engineering, or related fields).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Quality, with at least 3 years in a managerial or department head role in Manufacture Industry.
  • Experience in Printing & Packaging or FMCG Packaging industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC, BRC, and Halal systems.
  • Proven experience handling certification and customer audits.
  • Good understanding of printing & packaging processes and quality tools (RCA, CAPA, 7 QC Tools).
  • Strong leadership, hands-on, communicative, and coachable personality.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with tight deadlines.
  • Willing to be placed at Jababeka 2, Cikarang.
