Qualifications:
- Minimum a diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, including experience in warehouse layout planning, inventory management, and team supervision
- In-depth understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, scanners, and tracking systems
- Knowledge of occupational safety and health standards in warehouse environments
- Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Data analysis skills to identify problems and make informed decisions
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing effective warehouse management strategies
- Planning warehouse layouts to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency
- Overseeing all receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Ensuring the accuracy of inventory data and conducting regular physical counts
- Implementing effective inventory control systems to prevent loss or damage to goods
- Ensuring the safety of goods and company assets within the warehouse
- Implementing safety measures to prevent accidents
- Conducting regular inspections of warehouse conditions and equipment
- Collecting and analyzing warehouse performance data
- Preparing regular performance reports for management
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes
