Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma, preferably graduates from related fields such as Graphic Arts or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a digital printing machine operator, specifically Indigo machines
- Knowledge of graphic design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW will be an advantage
- Proficient in operating Indigo digital printing machines
- Understand the digital printing process, from file preparation to finishing
- Able to calibrate colors and adjust machine settings
- Understand types of printing media and their characteristics
- Able to perform machine maintenance and upkeep
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Understand occupational safety and health principles
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the machine before the printing process
- Load printing media (paper, film, etc.) into the machine
- Set printing parameters according to job specifications
- Monitor the printing process and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Receive job orders and understand job specifications
- Prepare print files for processing
- Select raw materials suitable for job requirements
- Record production data and create production reports
- Inspect print quality at every stage of production
- Adjust color and image quality to meet established standards
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during the printing process
